Time Event

Conclave is comming soon!
With the way my schedule is shaping up for September I am going to be too busy to plan a meet for that month. That being said there are still a few exciting things coming up. I plan on doing a meet late in October, tentatively on the 21st. However before that we have an event coming up that could prove to be hugely fun for the Michigan Furry community. Coming in early October in, Romulus Michigan, Conclave 31 will be happening. Conclave is a Sci-Fi and Fantasy convention that has recently added furry material to it’s programming. Myself and Nik are part of the con’s planning committee have invested a lot of time to make sure there is programming geared towards furries. The con is very fur friendly and I felt very welcomed when I attended last year. The convention is excited to have furs there and I feel we should all try to patronize it. Last year I only counted about 30 furs there. Considering our fur meets regularly exceed that number I feel that we can do a lot better then 30. If nothing else it would delight me to no end to see all of you there, but it would be great to start the tradition of a heavy furry presence at this long running con. I sincerely hope you will all join me in attending.

Just a few notes about Conclave’s Furry Programming:

-2 the Ranting Gryphon will be there with his unique brand of humor.

-Uncle Kage will be there with his humorous and endearing stories.

-I’ll be there running a tail making workshop and an ears making workshop.

-Tim Albee and Lord Skan will be there with a new cut of Kaze Ghost Warrior.

The con is taking place October 6th through the 8th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel right outside the Detroit metro airport in Romulus Michigan. Check out the website at www.conclavesf.org or email me at gir@tygrin.com for more information on the con.

Hope to see you all there!

360 Suicide
Dead Rising seems to have killed my Xbox 360. After reading about the issue online it looks like I'm not alone. Aparently Dead Rising is one of the first games to use multiple cores at the same time and really gives the 360's cooling system a real working over. It doesn't seem to be hurting later revisions of the 360 but unfortunently it seems to be burning up the launch 360s like hippies at a pot party.

This better not take me forever to get resolved...
